Phoenix Visuals is a photography and design business based in Jamaica. The Slogan, ‘Capture, Create, Share’ highlights the steps in which this company produces and publishes content.

A young man who has always had a knack for photography, Kimani Lindo started Phoenix Visuals Photography & Design. Lindo who was always fascinated by media, got his first role as a photographer one year when he borrowed his church’s camera and went to a ceremony by King’s House with the Boys’ Brigade. He was poised with the task of capturing images of the day’s events which involved members of the Boys’ Brigade.

A switch from a DL 750 to an iPhone saw the young Lindo really spread his wings soaring into the world of digital photography, however, he was not satisfied so he continued to press his parents for a camera and for his 20th birthday he was gifted with his first Digital Single Lens Reflex Camera (DSLR). He continued to work on his photography while improving his skills as a graphic designer as well. He continues to polish his skills in both areas looking to soar Phoenix Visuals to higher heights.

Lindo started a league for the youths in his community using his talents as a designer and a photographer to give his league, The WEBC Premier League a more professional look so as to have the members of his community feel as though this league is more than just an ordinary game of football, giving something to play for. Lindo says this league is greater than himself and he uses it to help polish those skills which he already has, so he can become the designer and photographer he has always dreamed of becoming.

”Photography is an outlet for me and it is also an avenue I" take to relieve stress because once i take up my camera and i start capturing, I get lost into whatever I am capturing. Editing however is that place where I go to let out my frustration and I produce my best work when I feel most aggravated as I use these techniques to express myself in the work that I am doing.

I will be great and one day the world will know the name Phoenix Visuals.”
